Why am I seeing an upgrade prompt?

You clicked something and got bounced to the Billing page. Here's why, and what to do.

If you click into a feature and end up on /billing/upgrade with a banner like "Quotes is not included on your Seedling plan," it means your tenant is on a tier that does not include that feature. Servicio enforces the same plan flags everywhere — backend routes, sidebar nav, form quotas — so the experience is consistent.

The three things that can trigger an upgrade prompt

  • Feature not on your plan. Trying to use a Growth-only feature (quotes, dispatcher, custom templates, audit log, etc.) on Seedling, or an Estate-only feature (commissions, AI dunning, API tokens) on Growth.
  • Quota hit. Trying to add a 101st client on Seedling, or an 11th user on Growth. The form rejects with a similar message.
  • Account is frozen. Your trial expired, or your subscription is past-due. Every owner page redirects to upgrade until you pick a plan or fix the payment issue.

How to resolve

Open /t/{your-slug}/billing/upgrade (or click any "Choose plan" button) and pick the tier that includes the feature you need. The full feature-by-tier matrix is on Plan overview.

You can also preview features before committing. The upgrade page shows side-by-side comparison cards. Hovering a feature shows what it does.

I think this is wrong — I am paying for the feature

Two things to check first: (1) confirm your current plan in the page header — it shows next to your tenant name; (2) confirm the subscription went through in Settings → Billing portal. If both look correct and you still cannot reach the feature, email help@servicio.app with a screenshot — there is likely a webhook delivery delay we need to nudge.
