Global search lives behind the magnifying-glass icon in the top nav. You can open it from any page with the keyboard shortcut / — Gmail-style.
What gets searched
- Clients — name, email, phone
- Properties — street address
- Visits — client name + date
- Invoices — invoice number, amount
- Quotes — quote number, title
How the results are organized
Results are grouped by entity type with counts. Clients tend to return first because that is what shops search for most often. Each result links to the entity's detail page.
Search is scoped to your tenant. Cross-tenant search does not exist — each Servicio customer's data is a sealed box.
What the current search does NOT do yet
- Semantic search ("angry emails from last week") — coming Q4 2026 when we integrate Meilisearch.
- Conversation-body search — the Inbox has its own search but global search does not yet index message bodies.
- Past (soft-deleted) entities — they are not returned.
Search matching is case-insensitive and uses SQL LIKE under the hood. It does not handle typos. "Johnson" will not find "Jonson." If you cannot find something, try a different fragment (email, phone digit, invoice number).
