The onboarding wizard

The 3-step wizard that takes you from a new account to "ready to invoice your first visit."

The onboarding wizard has three steps — company, services, customers — and each is skippable. You can come back to finish any step at any time via the dashboard checklist.

Step 1: Company

Confirm or edit your business details: legal name, address, phone, website, timezone, and primary industry (lawn, pool, or both). If your phone number matches a Google Business Profile, we auto-fill your address and logo from there.

  • Brand color. Used on the customer portal, quote PDFs, and invoice emails. Pick a color that matches your trucks or existing branding.
  • Logo. Optional but recommended. PNG or SVG, ideally square, at least 256x256.
  • Default locale. English or Spanish. Drives the language for automated messages when a specific client does not have a per-client preference set.
  • Supported locales. Multi-select. Every language you support. Clients can only choose preferred languages from this set.

Step 2: Services

Servicio ships with a starter service catalog based on your industry. For lawn shops: weekly mowing, biweekly mowing, hedge trimming, aeration, seasonal cleanup, fertilizer treatment. For pool shops: weekly maintenance, chemical balance, equipment check, green-to-clean, filter cleaning. For "both", you get the union.

Every service comes with a market-average default price. Edit any you want; delete any you do not do; add any that are specific to your shop.

💡
You can skip this step entirely and build your service catalog later from the Services page. The starter catalog is opinionated; many shops adjust pricing on day one.

Step 3: Customers

Two paths:

  1. Manual entry. Add clients one at a time. Good for small shops or pilot runs.
  2. CSV import. Upload a CSV with your full client book. We provide templates for Jobber, Skimmer, GorillaDesk, QuickBooks, and generic format.

See Importing clients from another tool for the CSV format details and field-mapping.

Finishing the wizard

When you hit "Finish", your tenant is fully provisioned. Default message templates (24 of them, across 15 trigger types, in English and Spanish) are seeded. A sample week of visits is generated for any recurring services you configured. You land on the owner dashboard.

The wizard does not set up Stripe Connect — that is a separate flow triggered from Settings → Payments. You can use Servicio without Stripe (invoices will still be sent; clients just have to pay outside the platform), but most shops set up Stripe in their first week.
